SUMMARY:Foyone & Delaossa
DESCRIPTION:The enormous talent of Daniel Martínez de la Ossa Romero\, Delaossa (Málaga\, 1993) was an open secret in the national hip hop scene. In little more than two years\, this young rapper from the Space Hammu collective has gone from promise to resounding reality of urban music in Spanish. His weapons: a boldness to the rhymes within the reach of a select few\, blatant flow and a lyric that scratches the guts and the soul. \nContemporary urban poetry cradled in the hypnotic rhythms that J.Moods manufactures\, putting the beat very raw like carpaccio. Tracks like “Puff Daddy” or “Joven de Niro” fertilized the land for the arrival of “Un perro Andaluz” (2019)\, the first album by Delaossa\, a statement of intent and identity against the current in the times of the single. \nThis is who we are and what we make of Delaossa\, but at the same time it is a portrait of a seaside neighborhood\, that of El Palo\, which could be the Baltimore of The Wire\, its people\, their yearnings and their experiences. Stories of disenchantment\, but also of overcoming\, of losses\, doubts\, addictions and anguishes told with pride\, humility and respect. Premium material to build rhythms and rhymes. Raw\, dry and tremendously powerful hip hop.
