As explained by Demarco himself, the song was created a few months ago during an interesting composition camp organized by Warner / Chappell Music.
There he worked with the musicians Sergio Crítica, Pepe Portilla and the producers “Tres Kamikazes”. As a result of that experience, from the combination of its different styles, “I understand you” was born that approaches Latin rhythms without losing the flamenco root, recalling the great success of Demarco “La Isla del Amor”.
The video of the song, shot in Madrid, is directed by Mario de Krea. Within an urban and industrial environment, the musician is accompanied by a group of dancers and break dancers from the Zukdance company who compete among themselves for exhibiting their art.
The dance and the interpretation of the artist emphasize the idea of the whole composition, that feeling of being fighting a hard battle so as not to lose the love of your life but from art and music.
