Sofia Ellar

With only 25 years, Sofía Ellar, singer and composer, is demonstrating that a musical career can be managed completely independently even if it involves a job not only as an artist but also as an entrepreneur and manager of her own project. The Sofia Ellar project, whose success is based on social networks like Instagram (with more than 250.000 followers) Spotify and Youtube (exceeding 6.000.000 views per theme), emerged from Sophia’s End of Degree Work as the culmination of her Business Administration career in IE; and she is seeing its fruits with surprising speed.

In this journey of effort and dedication that began from a very young age, Sofia and her guitar have become a new musical phenomenon, fresh and distinct, ready to grow and evolve with an audience as faithful and grateful as she tries to be.

After his “Sold Out” in rooms as well known as the Joy Eslava or La Riviera in the capital or Razzmatazz in Barcelona, as well as Galicia, Castellón and other places, Sofia is in full tour of promotion of his second album. In addition, she has traveled the stages of numerous cities throughout the Spanish territory, even going into the world of festivals, playing in some as prestigious as Starlite (Marbella) with a solo poster or Jardín de las Delicias (Madrid) sharing stage with groups such as sidecars, Beret, Hombres G or Rozalén.

Singer, Sofia learned to sing before speaking, and as soon as she had the opportunity she began to write the lyrics that came to her head in a notebook; lyrics that she soon transformed into songs. In February 2017 he released his debut album “Seis Peniques”, whose single “Segundas Partes Entre Suicidas” came to second place in popularity in Spotify. His international influence as a Spanish artist born in London has led him to compose songs in English as “Ahead of us”, “Spanish Little Place”, “Boots and Cats” or “Fire of Fame”.

With two autoproduced records behind her back in just two years, Sofia Ellar is becoming a phenomenon as a freelance artist. In February 2017 he released his first album “Seis Peniques”, and a year later in February 2018 he presented his second work “Nota en do”, with which, with the hand of his first album, he has turned around Spain. On August 31st he presented his last single, Versión de Cobarde, from which he picked up one of the top 10 places in the Itunes download list.
